In most of the payments industry, a card swipe passes through several hands before the money reaches the merchant. A reseller, an agent, a sub-agent, and each one adds a markup. The business owner pays all of it, usually without seeing any of it on the statement.
We started Direct Processing Exchange to change that. DPX gives businesses direct access to processing, pricing they can actually read, and a team that owns the relationship from the first call to the thousandth transaction.
